When helicopter parents attack: World Cup edition
Hey, we all want our kids to get some playing time, even if they are adults and in the World Cup. Amirite?
The longer I play this sports writing game, the more I realize some of the “new” things are really spins on the original.
Let me take you back to 1993. I was in my first job, at the Flint Journal, otherwise known as the former auto plant powerhouse of Michigan. (Shout out to Auto World, the most daft idea for an amusement park. And yes, it went belly up.)
